Patio Slider Security Screen Doors for Fair Oaks

Patio Slider Security Screen Doors in Fair Oaks, CA

If your sliding glass door looks out on trees, you probably want it open as often as you can, and in Fair Oaks there’s a good chance it does. The town began as hilly land that was largely oak forest, and the Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District still lists rolling terrain, oak trees and narrow, winding streets among the things it has kept as it’s grown.

A custom-fit sliding security screen door from Steve’s Mobile Security lets you do that. The glass door stays where it is. Slide it open, lock the screen, and you keep the air and the view.

Keep What You’re Looking At

Bars and grills do their job, then sit in the middle of everything you were looking at. Our security screens are built around woven stainless steel mesh instead. It’s high-tensile, and it gives you a clear, two-way view, so the trees out back stay the first thing you see.

Life Around Fair Oaks Village

Sacramento County describes the Fair Oaks Village neighborhood as semi-rural, with an eclectic mix of home styles, sizes and ages, large mature trees and a diverse wildlife population. That changes how you use a slider. On a summer night, you want the breeze and not everything else that lives in those trees. The National Weather Service’s climate record says summer nights in this part of the valley are usually pleasant, with breezes coming up through the Delta. A close fit around the frame helps keep bugs and small critters out while that air comes in.

No Two Sliders Assumed Alike

The mix shows up in the numbers too. Census estimates put nearly a third of Fair Oaks homes before 1970, nearly half in the 1970s and 1980s, and the rest after that. So we don’t assume anything about your door. A team member comes to your home, takes the measurements and goes over samples with you, and the door is tailored to your opening.

Here’s what you’ll choose between:

• Double “Full Security” screen – The way to go if security is the main reason you’re calling.
• Single “Heavy Duty” screen – Mainly for homes with pets. No more torn screens.
• Optional pet door – Pairs with our slider screens, though it does lower the level of security the screen can offer. We’ll talk that through.
• 10 frame colors – Brown, Bronze, Adobe and the Sahara finishes are good places to start if you’d like the frame to sit quietly against the trees.

Our 3-point locking system comes with keyed entry from outside on both the active and fixed sides of the patio door, which makes cleaning easier.
