All of Steve’s Mobile Security doors and security window screens are warrantied against manufacturer defects under normal, residential use for as long as the customer owns the product, and terminates if they sell or other wise transfer the product or the property upon which it was installed. The finish on all Steve’s Mobile Security doors and windows is warrantied for 10 years from date of installation against defect or discoloration. All other components of the product, including bug sweeps, weather-stripping, and composite materials are covered for 5 years from installation date. If the product breaks, or structural defects occur, Steve’s Mobile Security will repair or replace or repair the product at our discretion.
If the customer’s home is burglarized and entry was accomplished through a properly installed, properly locked Steve’s Mobile Security TITAN Premium or Fullview Door or a properly locked Double Sliding Security Door (covering both panels of glass) (Viewguard, Single Sliding Security Screen, and Security Windows excluded), Steve’s Mobile Security will replace as applicable the damaged Steve’s Mobile Security product at no charge (A police report of burglary is required) and pay up to $1000 towards homeowner's insurance deductible (insurance claim must be filed by homeowner). Replacement items may vary in style and color due to changes in suppliers’ product availability. Steve’s Mobile Security is not responsible for repairs required to mounting surface if damaged during a burglary. Steve’s Mobile Security is not responsible for securing the property while warrantied items are being repaired or replaced. Steve’s Mobile Security Doors is not responsible for any items damaged or stolen during a break-in. Steve’s Mobile Security Doors is not responsible for any injury, bodily harm or death caused by an intruder. Any problem caused by abuse, misuse, failure to maintain warrantied item properly, adjustments due to settling of the structure that the product is mounted on, or acts of God, are not covered. Lifetime break-in warranty is only available on Steve’s Mobile Security products that have been installed by a Steve’s Mobile Security Certified Installer. Items NOT covered by Break-In warranty: Door handles, deadbolts, hydraulic door closers, or any items added to the door or window during installation are not covered by the above warranty.
Proper functioning and finish of handle sets, deadbolts, and locks are warrantied for 5 years from date of installation. Warranty issues arising after 5 year period can be addressed directly to manufacturer, or will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a $75 service charge plus the cost of parts. Note: some handlesets may have additional manufacturer warranties (depending on brand, ask for details)
Installation workmanship is warrantied for 2 years from installation date. This warranty covers any adjustments needed to maintain continued proper functioning of the product. Example: door rubbing or scraping unnecessarily, an excessive noise during operation of door, or adjustment due to settling of mounting surface. Any issue arising after the 2 year workmanship period will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a $75 service charge plus the cost of parts. Workmanship warranty only applies to products installed by a Steve’s Mobile Security Certified Installer.
